Seven Ways to Experience Africa

Every journey begins as a conversation, not a fixed itinerary.
HOW WE BEGIN

A Starting Point, Not a Template

We don't run set departures, and we don't sell fixed itineraries. Every journey is curated froma conversation. These seven types are a starting point, a way to tell us what you're after, so we can begin shaping something built entirely around you.

YOUR STARTING POINT

Frequently Asked Questions

Everything you need to help decide which journey fits, before you start the conversation. Still unsure? Get in touch, and we'll help you find the right fit.
How do I know which journey type is right for me?
Start with what you want the trip to feel like, not just where you want to go. Classic and Pinnacle both suit first-time and repeat travellers, but Pinnacle adds full privacy and flexibility throughout. Purpose and Wild are better suited to travellers wanting something beyond wildlife viewing - conservation work or genuinely remote terrain. Legacy, Romance, and Milestone are shaped around who's travelling and why, rather than a destination or activity. If more than one sounds right, that's normal - a conversation with your craftsman will narrow it down.
Can I combine more than one journey type?
Yes, and many journeys do. A Classic safari might close with a few days of Romance on the coast, or a Purpose-driven gorilla trek might sit alongside a more traditional Pinnacle circuit elsewhere. The seven types describe what shapes a journey, not a fixed category you're locked into for the whole trip.
What if none of these feel like an exact fit?
That's common, and it's not a problem. These seven are a starting point for the conversation, not a menu you have to choose from directly. Tell your craftsman what you're drawn to, and the journey gets built from there, often blending elements of more than one type.
How long should I plan for my journey?
Most journeys work well over seven to fourteen nights, depending on how many countries or regions are included and how much time you want in each. Classic and Legacy journeys often suit a single country over a week or so, while Pinnacle and Wild circuits spanning two or three countries tend to need closer to ten days or more to avoid feeling rushed.
What happens after I choose a journey type?
Choosing a type is really just the start of the conversation, not a form to fill in. From there, your craftsman works with you to shape the specific countries, camps, and pacing around what you've described, refining the itinerary together until it feels right before anything is booked.

Are You Still Deciding?

That's what the conversation is for. Let's talk it through, and go from there.
